It mainly tells us the story of a miser. He cared so much about his money that she wouldn't give him a cent. He hates Christmas because he doesn't want to spend money. He only cares about himself. Then one day, his late best friend, who resembled him in character, advised him to change the way he did things, but he didn't listen. By the way, the mean old man's name was Scrooge.

After reading this article, some people may get lost in the wonderful ending, and some may hate Scrooge for what he did earlier. Maybe other people are scared because they see a miser in themselves. All in all, I think this story is like a wake-up call, which will ring in every reader's mind.

Everyone knows scrooge is rich, but he only has eyes for coins and his life is unhappy. So let's start with the beginning of Tightwad. My question is: what is the purpose of making money in the first place? At first, it may be for living, but when material needs are not an issue, what is that? I think the answer might be happiness.

Is Scrooge happy? Apparently not. Because he is only making money for money -- he is not the master of money, he is the slave of money. And I want to say this: the slave of money has no future.

在斯克鲁奇看来，大家所热烈期盼的圣诞节是虚伪和无聊的，不过是懒惰的人逃避工作的借口，不过是无聊的人排遣寂寞的理由，不过是心有所图的人借此寻找相互攀缘的机会，不过是无知小孩吃喝玩乐的最佳时节，没有任何实际意义，对他而言没有什么比赚钱更重要了。完全像斯克鲁奇这样的人在现实中恐怕没有，但是我们绝对能从身边的某个人的身上找到一些他的影子。

一个如此自私、刻薄、吝啬的守财奴，一个如此不懂得施舍和关爱他人的守财奴，在任何时候，看到这样的形象人物，我都会忍不住要唾骂一番。但是看完《圣诞颂歌》后，我却忍不住要对他竖起大拇指。

他的名字是斯克鲁奇。

和他的名字一样，他很吝啬，不关心别人。即是在圣诞节如此快乐的日子里，他仍然坚持认为自己的文员要加班，而不会增加工资。如果不是因为死去的马利——他的合伙人的鬼魂的出现，他一辈子也意识不到自己该做一个善良有爱的人。

和社会上许多吝啬的公司老板一样，他们希望员工多做点工作，但不愿意掏出更多的钱。工厂闹罢工讨债出事了，拍拍屁股就走人了。反正工人如何也是要不到钱的。

钱是那些老板的命根子。你把他们的命根子硬要夺走，他们怎肯？虽说那些钱里大多数是工人的血汗钱，但是，他就能活生生地把自己当成不懂事的孩子一般，抢了别人的玩具，硬是不肯松手，还坚称，是他的。

与这样孩子气的人讨工资，你只能够变成和他一样孩子气的人，要么，就算是他伟大的母亲出现，他也是不会松手的。因为他能拥有今天，在多大程度上取决于他伟大的母亲。他宁愿相信他母亲总是为他辩护。

所以，我太同情城市里千千万万的打工者了。所以，我讨厌这样一个吸血鬼老板。所以我很高兴见到马利的鬼魂。

马利的鬼魂说：“每个人，都应当使自己内在的心灵到人们之间去活动，到四面八方去旅行；如果在世的时候他的心灵不到外面去，那么死后就要罚它这么做。它注定要去人间流浪——咳，多苦啊！

——而且要亲眼看到他在世时本来可以分享得到的、并且从中得到幸福的事物，现在他却没有资格分享了。”马利说的这一番话多有悔意啊。在世的时候不懂得体会人间的疾苦，只懂得盘算自己的钱袋子，这样子的人，就算是死后也不能安宁啊。

他的灵魂必须接受上帝的惩罚，四处游荡，没有休息，疲劳和遗憾！不幸的是，他只有在死后才有机会知道自己的错。对于社会上的许多人而言，“事不关己高高挂起”早已经不是新鲜事了。

“只管自己门前雪，哪管他人瓦上霜。”这在中国的文化传统里也是根深蒂固的。难怪当今社会人性的冷漠无情。

只要一想到人性的冷漠和无情，一张脸就深深地印在我的脑海里。她就是小悦悦，佛山一家五金店老板的孩子。我不知道她做错了什么，也不知道上帝在做什么——为什么这么多路人都瞎了眼！

他们看不到一个活着的生命在车轮下无助地哭泣和死去！人们的漠不关心，比匆匆走过的车轮更能压垮一个人的生命和灵魂。镜头里前后路过的十几个人啊！

我不批判你们，我只是祈求，也能有一个像马利鬼魂一样的东西，或许叫小悦悦鬼魂去唤醒你们的良知和爱，让你们也能够看到过去的自己，现在的自己和未来的自己，从此不再怀抱一种侥幸和看热闹的心理，而是带着一颗爱人的心，让善行生根发芽！

斯克鲁奇履行了诺言，成了一个好人。他做了许多事，称为善行；我还做了一些其他我不知道的小事情。上帝保佑了他！

在他的余生中，他不再独自一人在自己的钱柜里，而是走进大街小巷，帮助那些他能帮助的人。我多么希望这样的奇迹能发生在像史克鲁奇这样的人身上。他们如何感受帮助他人和给与他人的快乐和价值？

噢，我实在没有办法。因此，我的心为斯克鲁奇而开心兴奋，却为千千万万的斯克鲁奇而担忧皱眉。

如何做一个懂得爱和有爱的人，这绝对不是一个简单的思想教育或者创造一定的社会氛围就能实现的。斯克鲁奇的转变，是因为有马利的鬼魂和三个幽灵的指引，他能在过去清楚地看到自己曾经的天真和善良，能在现在看到自己的冷漠和自私，以及在未来看到自己悲惨的下场。在这种情况下，心脏最柔软的部分将被触摸。

没有人希望看到他未来去时是会感到多么悲伤和悲惨。所以，为了战斗而不重蹈马利的覆辙，他做出了改变。

但是对于社会中的人而言，要让他们转变为真正懂爱有爱的人，需要较长的时间和刻骨铭心的事件让他们觉悟。它也许是一部电影，也许是一部电视剧，也许是一本书，也许是一首歌，也许是某一个在他生命中起重要作用的人。我们不能设定一个标准，就像我们不能把马利的鬼魂引渡到今天一样。

但是我确信，《圣诞颂歌》是那些书中的其中一种。

读一本书不会让你立刻变得富有，也不会让你立刻智慧或美丽，但是却会让你对现今的社会和人有一个对比和思考。不断地思考，才不至于让自己的脑袋生锈，以至于自己失去了原始的爱的能力和愿望，也不至于自己变得如斯克鲁奇一样的人。我希望当我遇到像史克鲁奇这样的人时，我能把这本书介绍给他，告诉他做一个懂得爱和爱的人。

每年平安夜都会读不同版本的《圣诞颂歌》，用读这本书的时间，去重新思考”简历美德“和”悼词美德“之间的平衡。考门夫人在今天的《荒漠甘泉》里平静地说：我们常以为不做事是懒惰、是羞耻，所以总喜欢跑来跑去瞎忙。其实，默想的时间、与神谈话的时间、举目望天的时间，是对我们最有益的时间，这样的时间从来不会太多。

同样，每年重读一次《圣诞颂歌》，这样的时间从来就不会太多。

邓嘉苑的译本文字很像傅真《最好金龟换酒》的风格，优美、充满细节，很喜欢这个译本。读过几个版本的《圣诞颂歌》，这个版本包含的信息更加成人化，而以前的版本更像儿童读本。例如邓嘉苑版本对夕阳的描写：夕阳在西边天际留下了一道火红的晚霞，像一只愤怒的眼睛瞪着这片荒野，不过转瞬之间，那皱着的眉 头就越沉越低，越沉越低，最后消失在漆黑夜晚的浓重幽暗里。

也给精美的插画点赞。插画很美，今天豆瓣推送了本书插画作者“伸手打手”的广播，忍不住就关注了。插画的风格一改过去《圣诞颂歌》的阴冷风格，而用色彩和光线打造了一个充满美感的英国圣诞。

又一年的平安夜，今年有幸读到文艺范版本的《圣诞颂歌》，很喜欢本书最后私刻鲁挤无惧周围人眼光的大转变：”有些人嘲笑他的转变，他完全不理会，任由他们嘲笑;因为他有足够的智慧明白，这世界上所发生的一切为了人好的事，一开始总是会受到某些人的嘲笑;他也知道这些人反正都是盲目的，他想到他们咧着嘴笑时眯起眼睛的模样，就像罹患某种恶疾而难看的模样。他的内心也在大笑，对他来说这就够了。“这种心态恰恰也是初信的___徒所要具备的吧?
